If\nyou had to sell your property today, would you accept digital money?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital money (called cryptocurrency) is a sensation\nthat is cropping up in the financial world with no shiny coins to put in your hand.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individuals and companies have Bitcoin \u201cwallets\u201d to\nstore keys they purchase from online exchanges<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are only digital balances of public and private keys.\nThe public key is like a bank account number and the private key is like an ATM\npin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 There are a\nlimited number of Bitcoin ATMs, where you get a key printout. Like cash, if you\nlose that piece of paper, you\u2019ve lost your Bitcoin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Question\nis\u2026. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you convince your client that there is a digital\ncurrency called Bitcoin? How about making them understand that they can buy or\nsell property using cryptocurrencies that only require mobile e-\npayment<\/a> from a digital wallet<\/a>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hard\nsell, right? Not so much.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In what appears to be a natural transition, holders of\ndigital currencies are increasingly taking their newfound wealth in the form of\ncryptocurrencies into real estate as a way to diversify their financial\nholdings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin is set to take over the real estate\nmarketplace and it\u2019s only a matter of when it will be adopted as a mainstream\nform of payment to purchase homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as forms of cryptocurrency, (Bitcoin isn\u2019t the\nonly one) are accepted, homes will undoubtedly be purchased this way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do\nhome owners have anything to fear? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as they use a licensed agent, a reputable\nlender, and title company, these transactions shouldn\u2019t hamper the sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International real estate firms are warming up to the\nidea as told by Natalia Karayaneva the CEO of Propy<\/em>; an online\ninternational real estate marketplace that allows investors to purchase properties\nwith digital currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If\na real estate agent is willing to take Bitcoin, there\u2019s really no stopping it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banks stand to lose the most if at all more digital\nmoney enters the real estate marketplace<\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin could speed up the transfer of property ownership\nand lessen fraud by preventing the forgery of documents, a challenge that banks\nhave been unable to curb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Me thinks real estate + Bitcoin is a match\nmade in heaven, what say you?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
